ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 win against Cedar Crest College on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The Knights opened the afternoon by taking two of three doubles matches. Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder won first doubles 8-2. In doubles action, Teresa Kozin and Cherie Allen won 8-4.

Neumann then went on to win five of the six singles matches. Klar opened by winning first singles 6-1, 6-3. Talene Brinker took her match at second singles 6-1, 6-2. Schroeder had to battle back after dropping the first set 6-3 and took sets two and three 6-0, 6-4. Allen won fourth single 6-2, 6-4. Wrapping up the match was Kozin at fourth singles, winning 8-3.

Neumann (7-4, 5-2 CSAC) will host Marywood tomorrow afternoon in a CSAC match beginning at 1:00 PM.
