BUFFALO, N.Y – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell 6-2 at Buffalo State College on Friday evening in ECAC West action.

Amanda Simpson got the Knights off on the right foot, scoring the first goal of the game 6:22 into the game. Shanelle Doucette drew the assist. The Bengals tied the game at the 13:20 mark and the teams went into the first intermission knotted at one.

Buffalo State exploded in the second period for four games, two coming on the power play.

Jessica Langdon scored the second goal for Neumann 3:38 into the third period. Melissa Johnson and Danica Delry tallied the assists. Buffalo State got the goal back midway through the period for the 6-2 final.

Neumann (0-5, 0-3 ECAC West) will face-off against Buffalo State again tomorrow afternoon. The puck is slated to drop at 3:00 PM.
