The Neumann University Athletic Department and the "Institute for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development" ® joined together in support of The Cure Starts Now Foundation.  This foundation was started through the inspirational journey of Lauren Hill, a freshman basketball player at Mount St. Joseph's. Hill has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and put a goal together to raise $1 million dollars for research of children with brain cancer by the end of 2014.
As of today, Hill accomplished her goal with support throughout the country. Neumann Athletics and the Institute joined Hill in this effort by making a donation for each made lay-up in tonight's game. To learn more or to show your support, visit www.layup4lauren.org.
Neumann (3-6) opens 2015 at the Gettysburg Tournament. The Knights will face Wilkes on January 4 beginning at 4:00 PM.
