ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated Cairn University 84-54 on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Mark Blount led the Knights with 18 points and 14 rebounds. DeShawn Lowman netted 14 points. Rich Whitten notched 12 points and Reggie Coleman added 10. Thirteen Knights netted at least two points in the win.

Neumann never trailed in the game and built up a double-digit lead nine minutes into the game. The Knights held a 12 point advantage, 47-35, at the half.

The Knights continued to pull away in the second half, slowly building their lead to 30, 84-54, for the conference win.

Neumann (13-6, 8-4 CSAC) travels to Marywood on Wednesday evening for conference action beginning at 7:00 PM.
