GLASSBORO, N.J. – The Neumann University baseball team fell to No. 11 Rowan University 15-1 on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.

Rowan exploded for 10 runs in the third inning en route to the 15-1 win. The Knights scored their lone run in the ninth inning. Neumann opened the top of the ninth with three straight singles to load the bases. Matt Sheneman scored on a double play for the only run.

Kristian DeLuzio started the game and went 2.2 innings. He allowed 11 runs, though four earned, on 12 hits. Ed Hild came in and went 2.1 innings and allowed three runs on six hits. Zach Youngberg pitched the final three innings and allowed one run, unearned, on three hits.

Neumann (13-13) will host Widener on Saturday morning for a single non-conference game. Action gets underway at 11:00 AM.
