LA PLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University baseball team dropped a pair of Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) games at Keystone College on Saturday afternoon. Game scores were 6-2 and 15-11.

Neumann scored the first two runs of the game in the top of the second. Kye Williams (so. Elkton, Md. / Caravel Academy) and Kyle Leone (jr. Elmhurst, Ill. / York) came around to score. Keystone tied the game at two in the bottom of the second.

The Giants added two runs in the fifth and two in the sixth for the 6-2 win.

Kristian DeLuzio (so. Limerick, Pa. / Spring Ford) went 6.0 innings for the Knights. He allowed six runs, five earned on 10 hits. He struck out seven.

Everyone came to hit in game two as there were 28 hits. Neumann opened the top of the first with three runs to begin the back and forth game.

Kelvin Ortiz (so. Bristol, Pa. / Bristol) knocked in two runs on a double in the fourth inning as the Knights plated four runs in the inning to take a 7-6 lead. The Giants answered with four runs in the bottom of the fourth to take back the advantage.

Buddy Elgin (jr. Chestertown, Md. / Kent County) had a two-run homerun in the fifth inning for bring the Knights to within one, 10-9. Neumann could not get over the hump to get the lead again fell 15-11.

Jeremy Hutchison (jr. Upper Chichester, Pa. / Chichester) started the game and went 3.1 innings. He allowed 10 runs in 10 hits and struck out three. Alex Summers (jr. North Wales, Pa. / Christopher Dock) took the loss, going 2.1 innings. He struck out four while allowing five runs on five hits. Lorzeno Williams (jr. Nassau, Bahamas / Hollywood Christian Academy) pitched the final third of an inning.

Neumann (14-18, 7-8 CSAC) will host Arcadia University tomorrow for a single non-conference game beginning at 1:00 PM.
