CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Baptist Bible College 7-2 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Tuesday afternoon.

Neumann opened the afternoon by taking two of the three doubles points. Bre Klar and Sarah Schroeder won first doubles 8-4. The duo of Teresa Kozin and Cherie Allen took second doubles 8-3. At third doubles, Justice Mallard and Lilly Escobar battled, but fell 9-8.

In singles action, Kozin won fourth singles with ease 6-0, 6-0. Klar took first singles 6-0, 6-1. At third singles, Allen won 6-3, 6-0. Mallard wrapped up the Knights points with a 6-1, 6-3 win at fifth singles. Schroeder had to work a little harder for her win at second singles. After falling in the first set 7-6 (7-2), she came back and won 6-4, 7-5. Escobar battled at sixth singles, but fell in the third set.

Neumann (5-3, 3-1 CSAC) hosts Keystone tomorrow in more conference action beginning at 4:00 PM.
