ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team handed Keystone College its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss of 2015, defeating the Giants 3-0 on Wednesday evening.
The Knights held control of all three sets, winning by scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-17. A kill by
Kat Wolf sealed the first set win. Neumann clinched the second set on a service error by Keystone and then took the match in set three on an attack error by the Giants. During the third set, the Knights hit .407 as a team and committed only one error.
Rachael Hoffman led the Knights 11 kills, hit .421 and had two block solos. Wolf handed out 29 assists and tallied five service aces and 14 digs.
Anna Waltz added 12 digs.
Neumann (11-15, 5-2 CSAC) will participate in a tri-match at Widener on Saturday. The Knights will face the Pride at 12:00 PM and Stockton at 2:00 PM.
