ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 match against Cairn University on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
The Knights picked up one point in doubles action as the duo of
Talene Brinker and
Sarah Schroeder won the first flight 9-7.
Lilly Escobar and
Angaline Salvucci battled at second doubles, but fell 8-6.
Escobar fought during her singles match, winning the first set 6-4. But she dropped the next two 6-2, 10-1 to fell in the third flight.
Neumann (3-10, 1-8 CSAC) will wrap up conference play tomorrow when it hosts Summit beginning at 1:00 PM.
