LA PLUME, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell 6-3 at Keystone College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Friday afternoon.
Sarah Schroeder and
Talene Brinker took the Knights' lone point in doubles action, winning the first flight 8-0. At second doubles,
Lilly Escobar and
Angaline Salvucci battled but dropped a 9-7 decision.
Schroeder kept her momentum and won her singles match, 6-3, 6-2, in the first flight. Salvucci took her match at fourth singles 6-2, 6-4. Brinker fought though her match at second singles, but dropped the match 7-5, 7-5.
Neumann (2-7, 0-5 CSAC) will stay north and face Marywood tomorrow in CSAC action.
