IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey picked up a 5-2 win at Immaculata University on Wednesday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Becky Guinto led the Knights with a goal and two assists.
Alexa McIntyre handed out two assists.
Colleen Hoy and
Laura Martin each scored their first collegiate goal.
Shae Risley had a goal and a defensive save.
Becca Wallace made nine saves in net.
Immaculata opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Guinto answered in the 12
th minute to tie the game at one.
Chelsea Kulesza gave Neumann the lead in the 17
th minute off of a penalty corner, the first of three Knights goals off penalty corners in the game. McIntyre drew the assist. Hoy netted her first goal in the 19
th minute for a 3-1 Neumann lead. Guinto had the assist on the penalty corner goal.
Martin netted her goal in the 53
rd minute off an assist from McIntyre. The Mighty Macs answered right back with a goal off of a deflection for a 4-2 game.
Risley scored her goal in the 67
th minute to seal the win. Guinto had the assist off of the penalty corner.

Neumann (8-8, 2-3 CSAC) will head to Cedar Crest on Saturday for more CSAC action beginning at 4:00 PM.
