RYE, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell to Manhattanville College 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference action.
The Valiants opened the scoring 2:30 into the game. Manhattanville took a 2-0 lead, shorthanded, with 1:17 left in the first and too the 2-0 lead into the intermission.
Manhattanville scored a power play goal 2:41 into the second period. In a 22 seconds span midway through the game, the Valiants added two more goals for the 5-0 lead.
Julia Fair made 34 saves in net. Neumann outshot Manhattanville 13-9 in the first period.

Grace Klienbach each had three shots to lead the Knights.
Neumann (1-7-1) continues its long seven straight road games when it travels to Oswego State on Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 for conference action.
