Carney reached on a double and Kevin Case singled to put two runners on with one out. Elgin tripled in two runs and would score on a single by Matt Sheneman. A single by Cody MacNair and a double by Lantigua would drive in the final three runs for the Knights.

The Pacers led the bottom half of the 10th off with a single, but three straight strikeouts by Tyler Thomas kept the Knights alive in the postseason.

Matt Anderson started the game for the Knights and went the first 5.0 innings. He gave up five runs, three earned on seven hits. Bobby Sefick came in relief and went the next 3.2 innings. He gave up two runs on three hits and struck out three. Zach Youngberg gave up a hit to the only batter he faced. Jerome Cevetello got the last batter out in the ninth and picked up the win.

Neumann opened the game with a run in the top of the first as Carney reached after being hit by a pitch and came around to score on a single by Sheneman. Marywood answered with four runs in the bottom of the first for a 4-1 lead.

The Knights capitalized on a Pacers error and scored three unearned runs in the top of the second to tie the game up at 4-4. Neumann would score a run in the third and the fourth for a 6-4 lead. The Knights scored an insurance run in the top of the ninth off of an error, but the lead would not hold up in the bottom of the ninth as the Pacers would plate two runs and tie the game at seven.

Neumann would take care of business in the top of the 10th to come away with the 13-7 win and stay alive in the double-elimination tournament.
