Box Score 2 ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team split a pair matches in the first day of the Buttermaker Classic Tournament at Muhlenberg College on Friday evening.
Neumann fell in the first match to Stevenson 3-1 and then defeated Dickinson 3-2.
Against the Mustangs,
Julia Malseed led the Knights with 18 digs.
Nikki Collevechio notched 12 and
Kat Wolf added 10. Wolf also handed out 16 assists.
Rachael Hoffman led Neumann with seven kills.
The Knights rebounded against Dickinson. Malseed and
Anna Waltz each tallied 16 kills to lead the offense. Wolf dished out 46 assists and four service aces.
On the defensive end, Waltz notched 18 digs to lead the Knights. Malseed and Wolf each added 14. Collevechio tallied 11 and
Karlie Greenhalgh had 10.
Neumann (3-3) will face DeSales tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM. Depending on the results, the Knights will either play at 2:00 PM or 4:00 PM to wrap up the Invitational.
