The Red Dragons opened the scoring just 11 seconds into the game.

Ashley Langdon and
Sammy Patrick tallied the assists. Cortland then scored two more goals in the first for a 3-1 lead after the first 20 minutes.

Just as the Knights finished killing off a penalty that carried over to the third period,

Kelly Fox, who just came out of the penalty box, got Schneider the puck.
Two minutes later, the Red Dragons scored the only special team's goal of the game to take back a two goal lead, 4-2. Neumann pulled its net minder with 1:10 left in regulation, but could not get the goals to tie the game.
Justina Mayr made 34 saves in net.
Bek Lucas led the Knights with 11 of the 30 shots on goal.
Neumann (3-12-1, 1-9-1 ECAC West) and Cortland (7-6-1, 3-5-1 ECAC West) will meet again tomorrow afternoon beginning at 2:00 PM.
