UTICA, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision at Utica College on Saturday afternoon in Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) West action.
The Pioneers opened the scoring at the 5:10 mark of the first period.
Bek Lucas tied the game at one in the 13
th minute.
Jackie Schneider and
Megan Russelo tallied the assists. Utica answered 14 second later with the eventual game-winning goal.
Utica added a goal in the second and another in the third for the 4-1 win.
Justina Mayr made 44 saves in net.
Neumann (4-14-1, 2-11-1 ECAC West) will host SUNY Potsdam next weekend for a pair of conference games.
