On a warm fall evening, the Neumann University Women's Rugby Club welcomed Widener University, a team they hadn't played in 15s since the spring of 2015. After coming off a tough match against Mount St. Mary's, the team was ready to show their abilities and have a good match against Widener.

Neumann would start off the first half extremely strong, scoring try after try. The backs were commanding the pitch and had good ball control and were able to move the ball cleanly. The forwards provided support and dominated the scrums and rucks, able to keep possession of the ball for Neumann. The first half would end with Neumann having a 32-0 lead over Widener.

The second half proved more challenging for Neumann, where the Lady Knights were a little more sluggish, but were able to keep up with Widener and only allowed them to successfully get one try in. The game ended with Neumann winning 46-7. Victoria Mellon was able to have three conversions, while also providing a number of assists, Becky Burns scored two tries, and Sharae Frazier would score a record breaking six tries for Neumann!
