ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team wrapped up Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Wednesday evening with a 3-0 win over Cedar Crest College. Set scores were 25-15, 25-15 and 25-18.
Before the game, the Knights honored its seniors:

Nikki Collevechio,
Jessica Winn and manager Alyssa Ruggiero.
Rachael Hoffman led the Knights with 11 kills and five blocks.
Melanie Malseed added 10 kills and had a .474 hitting percentage.
Rachel Cray handed out 38 assists. Collevechio tallied nine digs and three service aces.
The match started with the teams trading points. Neumann was able to take an 8-7 lead and increase to a 13-7 lead while Cray was serving. While Malssed was serving, the Knights took a 15-9 lead and turned it into a 20-9 advantage. A kill by Hoffman sealed the first set win.
In set two, Neumann jumped out to a14-5 lead. With the Knights holding a 22-10 lead, the Falcons scored four straight points for a 22-13 game. Two kills by Hoffman sealed the second set win.
Set three started with the teams battling back and forth. Cedar Crest held a 15-14 lead when Neumann scored five straight points. The Falcons answered with three consecutive points and a 19-18 Knights lead. That was the final points Cedar Crest would put on the board and Neumann scored the final six points, capped by a kill by Malseed, for the win.
Neumann (17-14, 9-2 CSAC) will wrap up the regular season on Saturday with a tri-match at Stockton University. The Knights will face DeSales at 12:00 PM and Stockton at 2:00 PM.
