GALLOWAY, N.J. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team dropped a pair of non-conference matches, both 3-0, to Desales University and Stockton University on Saturday afternoon at the Dig Pink Tri-Match.
To open the day, the Knights faced off against Desales University and fell by scores of 25-19, 25-14 and 27-25.
Rachael Hoffman led the way for the Knights with eight kills and three blocks.
Nikki Collevechio had 16 digs and two aces during the match.
Rachel Cray led the team with 25 assists.
In the team's second match of the day, Neumann would face Stockton University and fall 25-14, 25-12 and 25-18. Hoffman and
Shayne Sullivan each notched six kills in the loss, while Cray tallied 19 assists and seven digs to lead the team in both categories.
Neumann concludes its regular season with a record of 17-16 and a 9-2 mark in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play. The team will next be in action on Tuesday night as it hosts Immaculata University in the first round of the CSAC playoffs. The match is slated to start at 7:00 PM.
