ROSEMONT, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team won a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) matchup versus Rosemont College on Friday afternoon by a score of 8-1. The win was their second CSAC win in a row.
Neumann started the day by sweeping the doubles matches. In first doubles
Sophie Brink and Lily Escobar won 8-4, in second doubles
Angie Salvucci and
Francess Bockary won 8-2, and in third doubles
Danielle Rush and
Paige Clift won 8-0.
Singles were also a success for the Knights, as five of six Neumann players won their matches. Brink, Salvucci, Bockary, Rush, Clift and
Dara Law were all victorious on the afternoon.
Neumann is next in action tomorrow October 8
th, as it heads to CSAC rival Clarks Summit University looking for its third win in a row. The match is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
