ORLANDO, Fla. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team opened the 2016 season with a 14-6 win over Eastern University on Saturday morning in Orlando, Fla.

Jordan Hopkins led the Knights with six goals. Diana Caicedo and Kaitlyn Conrad, Brittany Cassidy each netted a pair.
 
Neumann netted six goals in the first half and eight goals in the second en route to the win.

Neumann (1-0) will open its home schedule when it returns from spring break. The Knights will host Arcadia on March 8 beginning at 4:00 PM.
