Volleyball Falls in Day One of Knights Invitational

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team opened the 2016 Knights Invitational on Friday evening against Swarthmore College. The Knights fell to the Garnet in three sets, 3-0, 25-21, 25-15, 25-13.
 
Rachael Hoffman led the Knights with six kills. Melanie Malseed added five kills. Hayley Glah and Nikki Collevechio each notched 10 digs. Rachel Cray (eight assists) and Alex Koppany (six assists) split the time as setter.
 
Neumann (1-7) will continue the Knights Invitational tomorrow with three matches. The Knights will face Widener, Moravian and Baruch beginning at 10:00 AM.
