ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University volleyball team fell in two matches of a tri-match with Frostburg State University and Lebanon Valley College on Saturday.
The Knights fell to Frostburg State in the first match 3-1 and then fell to Lebanon Valley 3-0.
Against Frostburg, the Bobcats took sets one, two and four, all by 25-21 scores. The Knights won set three 25-14.
Hayley Glah tallied 11 kills to lead the Knights.
Melanie Malseed added 10 kills.
Rachel Cray handed out 36 assists.
Rachael Hoffman tallied six service aces, one block solo and four block assists.
Nikki Collevechio led the defense with 20 digs. Glah and Cray each added 16 digs.
In the finale against Lebanon Valley, the Dutchmen took all three sets, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19.
Glah and Hoffman each had seven kills. Hoffman added three block solos. Cray dished out 23 assists and 11 digs.
Neumann (4-10) will host Elizabethtown on Tuesday evening. The non-conference action is slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
