ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell 1-0 in its final home game of the regular season on Thursday evening to Wesley College.
The first half of the game was close as both teams tallied three shots.
The lone goal of the game came right after halftime in the 39
th minute as the Wolverines started to hold the pace of the game. Wesley outshot Neumann 7-1 in the final 35 minutes.
Lizzie Yu made six saves in net.
Tiffany Flowers had one defensive save.
Neumann (2-12) will wrap up the season with two conference games on the road. The Knights will head to Immaculata on Saturday. Action is slated to begin at 1:00 PM.
