BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision at Buffalo State College on Friday evening in Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) West action.
Helen Cooney started the game and made 28 saves in net.
Buffalo State opened the scoring 2:08 into the first period. The Bengals added a power play and a shorthanded goal in the second period. Buffalo State netted three goals in the third period for the win.
The Bengals edged the Knights in shots 35-32.
Grace Klienbach led the Knights with five shots.
Neumann (6-11-3, 2-8-3 ECAC West) will face off with Buffalo State again on Saturday. Action gets underway at 4:00 PM.
