Barnes needed just five points for 1,000 career points and he reached that mark on the first of two free throws with 15:30 left in the first half. He made both free throws to give Neumann a 14-11 lead. The senior finished with 20 points and went 8-for-9 from the line.

DeAndre Williams led the Knights with 25 points, including five baskets from downtown. Carl Wallace netted 12 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Billy Cassidy netted three three-pointers en route to 11 points and Tyaire Hudson added 10 points.

Cassidy began the game with a three-pointer 22 seconds in. With the teams knotted at nine, the Knights went on a 15-4 run to take a 24-13 lead.
