Box Score 2 CLERMONT, Fla. – The Neumann University softball team picked up a pair of wins on Thursday in Florida. The Knights defeated Wartburg 4-3 for their first win of the season. Neumann then defeated St. Mary's (MN) 7-6 in 8 innings.
In game one,
Michaela Pembleton picked up the win in relief.
In game two,
Jackie Schneider hit her first collegiate homerun, a three-run shot.
Becky Guinto had two hits and three RBI in the win.
Trish Daneke picked up her first collegiate win in the circle, coming in relief.
Neumann (2-4) will wrap up play in Florida tomorrow with two games. The Knights will face Houghton at 11:30 AM and will have a rematch with Capital at 4:30 PM.
