DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell to Delaware Valley University 3-0 on Friday afternoon in the season opener.
 
Freshman Lizzie Yu made her collegiate debut in the cage and made six saves. Senior Alexis Damask had a defensive save on defense. Freshmen Kyra Washington and Erica D'Mello each had two shots.
 
The Aggies scored their three goals in a 12 minute span of the first half.
 
Neumann (0-1) will open its home portion of the schedule on Wednesday when it hosts Arcadia. The game is slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
