Field Hockey Falls in Battle of the Knights

ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team fell 5-0 in the battle of the Knights against Arcadia University on a rainy Wednesday evening.
 
The game remained scoreless until the 27th minute when Arcadia netted the first goal of the game. The Knights then added a goal in the 33rd minute for a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.
 
Arcadia scored three more goals in a 10 minutes span early in the second half en route to the 5-0 win.
 
Lizzie Yu made 12 saves in net for Neumann. Alexis Damask and Ashley Parker each had a defensive save.
 
Neumann (0-2) will host Swarthmore next Wednesday. Action is slated to get underway at 4:00 PM.
