ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team fell to Keystone College in three sets, 3-0, on Wednesday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action. Set scores were 25-20, 25-6, 27-25.
Rachael Hoffman tallied seven kills.
Carlee Herrin handed out 16 assists and nine digs.
Melanie Malseed and
Hayley Glah added eight digs.
The first set went back and forth, including a Keystone 16-15 lead. The Giants began to add to their lead and went up 23-19 before taking the set 25-20.
The Giants started the second set on fire, scoring the first nine points. The third set featured 11 tied scores. Down, 24-21, Neumann tallied three points to tie the game at 24. After the teams traded points to tie again at 25, but this time the Knights could not get the points to force a fourth set.
Neumann (7-12, 3-1 CSAC) will compete in the Worthington Classic this weekend at Gallaudet University.
