READING, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team participated in the Alvernia Quad Match on Friday evening. The Knights fell in both matches to Lehman College and Vassar College by 3-0 scores.
In the first match of the afternoon, Neumann battled with Lehman to set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 25-15.
Pat Morgan tallied seven kills and six digs in the match.
Roddy Rountree notched nine digs.
Andrew Kelly handed out seven assists while Tomas Tbarra finished with five.
The Knights had a tough match against No. 15 Vassar, falling in straight sets 25-19-, 25-9, 25-9. Rountree tallied six kills and five digs.
Kyle Slinkman added seven digs.
Neumann (0-7) will begin conference play next week. The Knights first Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) match will take place at Rutgers-Newark on Thursday. The match is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
