Women’s Volleyball Quest for Atlantic East Championship Ends in Semifinals

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team's quest for the Athletic East Conference Championship came to an end in a 3-0 loss at Marymount University on Thursday evening in a semifinal match-up. Set scores were 25-14, 25-12 and 25-12.
 
Melanie Malseed led the team with six kills. Rachael Hoffmann tallied five. Malseed and Hayley Glah each notched nine digs. Kirsten Longueira added eight. Rachel Cray handed out 10 assists while Alex Koppany dished out nine.
 
Neumann (16-16) will now wait for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament to be announced on Monday to see if its season will continue.
