ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team defeated the University of Valley Forge 95-52 on Tuesday evening.
Aaron Johnson-Chavis led five Knights in double-digits with 16 points. The sophomore added 14 rebounds for a double-double.
Raquan Brown-Johnson and
Mark Perry each netted 15 points.
Jordan Collins tallied 12 and
Waheem Lowman added 10. Twelve out of the 14 players that hit the court netted at least two points in the win.
The Knights came out on fire and scored the first 13 points of the game. The Patriots scored their first points on free throws four minutes into the contest. Neumann built up a 15 point lead, 42-27, at the break.
The Knights scored the first eight points of the second half and didn't look back. Neumann continued to build on its lead and cruised to the convincing victory.
Neumann (4-3) will take a break for Thanksgiving and will get back onto the court next Tuesday when it will travel to Cairn University. Action is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
