PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team fell in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action to Gwynedd Mercy University by a score of 9-0 at Legacy Tennis Center on Monday afternoon.

Coming into the day tied for first in the conference, Gwynedd Mercy wasted no time taking the play to the Knights. The Griffins dominated both doubles matches and also picked up a win by default at third doubles to take an early 3-0 lead.

Neumann looked to get back into the match in singles competition, but the Knights could not solve the very talented Gwynedd Mercy team. The Griffins continued to roll, winning all six singles matches to claim the comfortable 9-0 win.

Neumann (1-8, 1-8 CSAC) will look to rebound in its season and conference finale tomorrow versus Marywood University. The match is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
