INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The 2018 Neumann University softball team has been named the NCAA Division III Statistical Champion in doubles per game for the 2018 season.
 
The Knights hit 108 doubles over their 41 games this season, averaging 2.63 doubles per game. Lesley University finished second behind Neumann, averaging 2.45 per game (81 over 33 contests).
 
Neumann had five players hit double-digits in doubles, led by Kierstin Fallers and Kate Korte' with 15 each. Julia Cox hit 14 doubles in the campaign. Jackie Schneider tallied 12 and Taylor Sirolli notched 10. During the season, 15 Knights had at least one double.
 
The Knights finished the season 24-17 overall and 17-5 in conference action. Neumann advanced to the conference championship game and was awarded and ECAC tournament bid.
