ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's basketball team dropped a 71-53 decision to Franklin & Marshall College on Thursday evening in a non-conference match-up.
Mark Perry had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Waheem Lowman added 13 points.
The Diplomats scored the first seven points of the game. With an 11-7 advantage, F&M went on a 12-3 run to take a 23-10 lead midway through the first half. The Diplomats continued to build their lead and held an advantage as large as 20 before taking a 44-25 lead into the break.
The Knights came out of the locker room and netted the first seven points of the second half. Neumann would get to within 11 a few times during the half, but could not get any closer.
Neumann (9-5) heads back into Atlantic East action on Saturday when it heads to Immaculata for a doubleheader with the women. The men are slated to tip-off after the women's game at 3:00 PM.
