UNION, N.J. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team opened Continental Volleyball Conference action on Friday night, but fell to No. 10 Kean University 3-0.
 
The Knights improved their points in each set as the scores were 25-8, 25-10 and 25-16. Conner Kolek led Neumann with four kills and four digs. Jules Maiorano handed out five assists.
 
Neumann took an early 3-2 lead in the first set. However, with Kean leading 13-8, the Cougars ran the table for the rest of the set.
 
Neumann (0-3, 0-1 CVC) will head to Cairn on Wednesday evening for more conference action beginning at 7:00 PM.
