WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Neumann University baseball team fell to Augustana College 5-4 on a walk-off wild pitch on Wednesday morning.
 
The Knights pounded out 15 hits in the game John Lindeborn tallied four while Joe Nepi and Tre'Zhan Selby added three each. David Alvarez went 2+ innings. He allowed four runs, two earned, on five hits. Matt Grosse pitched 4.0 innings and allowed one hit and struck out four. Will Hart went two innings. Nick Glebocki came in in the ninth inning and took the loss.
 
The Vikings took advantage of a Knights error in the first inning and scored two unearned runs. Augustana added a run in the second and another in the third for an early 4-0 lead.
 
The Knights got on the board in the sixth inning as they plated three runs. With one out, Zach Ray, Tyler Ramos and Andrew La Rosa hit back-to-back-to-back singles. La Rosa's single scored Ray. Selby then knocked in Ramos and La Rosa with a single with two outs.
 
Neumann tied the game at four as Lindeborn doubled in the seventh and scored on a single by Ray.
 
In the bottom of the ninth, the Vikings loaded the bases on a hit batsman and two walks. Augustana then won on a wild pitch.
 
Neumann (3-4) will face Milwaukee School of Engineering tomorrow beginning at 1:30 PM.
