ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's lacrosse team defeated Rutgers University – Camden 18-8 on Monday afternoon and senior Kaitlyn Conrad scored her 222th career goal, setting a program record.
 
Conrad finished the game with eight goals and two assists. At the 19:54 mark of the first half, Conrad netted her third goal of the game to break Alex Bohen's record of 221 goals that she set from 2009-12.
 
Brittany Cassidy, Courtney Petrucelli and Reilly Fiedler each netted a pair of goals in the win. Catriona Corrigan made 15 saves in net for the win. The freshman net minder also picked up nine ground balls. Lydia Beckman tallied 11 draw controls.
 
Neumann scored the first 10 goals of the game over the first 15 minutes of play and never looked back. At the half, the Knights held a 12-2 lead. During the second half, the teams traded goals as each netted six in the second frame.
 
Neumann (7-4) begins conference action on Wednesday when it heads to Immaculata. The Atlantic East contest gets underway at 4:00 PM.
