ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis dropped a 6-3 match to Cairn University on Monday afternoon in a non-conference contest.
 
In doubles action, the duo of Maddy Varney and Mia Cimino won their match in the first flight 8-1.
 
Cimino then won her singles match, also in the first flight. After dropping the first set 6-4, she came back and took the match 6-1, 10-8. Varney also won her singles match, in the third slot. She also dropped the first set, 6-4 and came back to win the match 6-4, 11-9.
 
Neumann (0-3) will hit the road on Wednesday and travel to Kean for a non-conference match beginning at 4:00 PM.
