UNION, N.J. – The Neumann University women's team dropped a 7-2 match at Kean University on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
 
The two points the Knights picked up were as a results of forfeits by the Cougars. Lindsey Padilla and Ashley Francis received the forfeit at third doubles. Olivia Warren picked up the forfeit at sixth singles.
 
At second doubles, Egypt Bell and Warren battled, but fell 8-4. Mia Cimino (first singles) and Francis (fourth singles) each fought throughout their matches, but dropped 6-4, 6-2.
 
Neumann (0-4) will open conference action on Friday as it hosts Immaculata. Action gets underway at 3:00 PM.
