ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team opened Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) action on Friday evening, where it fell to Kean University 3-0. Set scores were 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.
Jules Maiorano handed out 12 assists in the match.

Thomas McConnell and
Conner Kolek each had four kills. Kolek added six digs.
The first set start off back and forth, but the Cougars took a tied score of six and rattled off six of the next seven points. After Kolek started the second set with a kill, Kean scored five consecutive points and eight of the next nine. The third set started much like the second. Down 17-9, Kolek tallied a pair of service aces and pulled the Knights to within four, 17-13, but they could not get any close.
Neumann (2-6, 0-1 CVC) will head to Cairn University next Tuesday for a rematch of Wednesday. Action gets underway at 7:00 PM.
