ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's volleyball team celebrated senior night with a 3-0 win over Gwynedd Mercy University in Atlantic East Conference action.
 
Prior to the match, the Knights honors Bre Hickey, Ariana Pena and Maria Brown. Hickey went on to lead the Knights with 14 kills. Brown and Pena each added seven kills.
 
Regan Hickey tallied nine kills. Catie Esslinger handed out 17 assists. Dani Smith dished out 14. Tori Burgess notched nine digs and Reagan Walker added seven.
 
The Knights jumped out to an early 11-1 lead in the first set. A kill by R. Hickey sealed the 25-16 set one win. Gwynedd Mercy took an early lead in the second set, 6-2. Down 17-15, Neumann scored five straight points to take a 20-17 advantage. Another R. Hickey kill sealed the 25-20 set two win. The Knights held the pace in set three and sealed the match victory with a 25-16 set three win.
 
Neumann (11-15, 3-2 Atlantic East) will travel to Marywood next Wednesday evening for the final conference match of the regular season. Action is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
