ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team wrapped up the regular season with a 5-0 loss to Marywood University on Wednesday evening in Atlantic East Conference action.
Megan Frame was busy in net, making 15 saves.
Lexi Everett had a defensive save.
Marywood scored its first goal four minutes into the game and made it 2-0 in the final minute of the first quarter. The Pacers added two more goals in a four-minute span of the second quarter for a 4-0 lead at the half.
The Pacers scored their fifth goal in the 34
th minute. Marywood was held off the scoreboard in the fourth quarter.
Neumann (3-14, 0-5) will be the No. 6 seed in the postseason and will travel to the No. 3 seed on Saturday.
