ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University field hockey team dropped an 8-0 decision to Arcadia University in a battle of the Knights on Saturday afternoon.
Arcadia got on the board quickly as it scored just 54 seconds into the game. Just before the end of the first quarter, the Knights struck again for a 2-0 lead. Neither team scored in the second quarter and Arcadia held the 2-0 lead into halftime.
Arcadia netted four goals in the third quarter for a 6-0 lead. The Knights added two more goals in the fourth quarter for the 8-0 final.
Megan Frame started in net for Neumann and made 11 saves.
Ava Irwin made one save in the final 15 minutes.
MiKayla Brown tallied a defensive save.
Neumann (1-5) will hit the road on Wednesday as it travels to Centenary. Action is slated to get underway at 4:00 PM.
