HERSHEY, Pa. – The Neumann University women's ice hockey team fell at Lebanon Valley College, 3-0, on Wednesday evening in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) action.
Lebanon Valley scored a goal in each period, including an empty net goal in the third period. Each team went 0-for-3 on the power play.
Michelle Winand-Bacon made 40 saves in net.
Jasmine Martinez led the Knights with eight shots.
Emma Tauken blocked four shots.
The Flying Dutchmen opened the scoring 12:14 into the first period. LVC added its second goal six minutes into the second period before netting an empty net goal with 1:32 left in regulation.
Neumann (2-12-2, 2-8-2-1 UCHC) continues its busy week and will host Arcadia on Friday evening. The puck is slated to drop at 7:00 PM.
