SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Neumann University women's volleyball team dropped a pair of five-set matches on Saturday afternoon.
In both matches, against Vassar College and
Thiel College, the Knights dropped the first two sets before winning sets three and four to force a fifth set.
Claudia
Bournazel was named to the All-Tournament Team.
In the first match against Vassar,
Regan Hickey tallied 19 kills.
Anna Mansel added 10 kills.
Dani Smith handed out 38 assists. Five Knights notched double-digit digs.
Lauren Garvey, Smith and Bournazel each had 24. Hickey tallied 19 and
Tori Burgess added 16.
Against Thiel, Garvey and Hickey each had 15 kills. Smith dished out 43 assists. Bournazel notched 24 digs for the second straight match. Garvey and Smith each had 16 and Hickey add 15 digs.
Neumann (7-14) gets back into conference action on Wednesday night when it travels to Cabrini. Action is slated to get underway at 7:00 PM.
