MEDIA, Pa. – The Neumann Men's Basketball team picked up a road win over Penn State Brandywine on Tuesday night 93-61.
Jalen Vaughns led the Knights with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Justin Smith followed up with 19 points.
TJ Lewis and
Tony James each netted 13 points
. Ryan Starr handed out seven assists.
After early trading of baskets, and tied at six, two free throws by Vaughns put the Knights in the lead they would not relinquish. A jumper by Lewis gave Neumann a double-digit lead, 19-8. The Knights continued to build their lead and took a 50-26 score into halftime.
The Knights lead by 20+ points throughout the entire second half and cruised to the 93-61 final. Fourteen Knights saw time in the game, 13 of which had at least one rebounds and 12 of the 14 netted at least two points.
Neumann (4-2) heads to Penn State Harrisburg next Monday. Tipoff is set for 7:00 PM.
