HERSHEY, Pa. – The Neumann University Men's ice hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision at Lebanon Valley College on Friday evening in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) contest.
After almost 40 minutes of scoreless action, Lebanon Valley struck first with 20 second left before the second intermission. The Flying Dutchmen doubled their lead with a goal at the 8:51 mark of the third.
The Knights pulled the goalie for the final two minutes of regulation. The Knights got four shots off, two on net, but could not light the lamp.
Cole DeFazio made 29 saves in net. Lebanon edged Neumann in shots 31-28.
Mykyta Volobuyev and
Brady Mistler led the Knights with four shots each.
Nate Dunning blocked three shots as the team finished with 13 blocked shots.
Neumann (3-7, 1-5 UCHC) will host Lebanon Valley tomorrow in more UCHC action. Action is set for 4:00PM
