SCRANTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision at Wilkes University on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-12, 25-9 and 25-15.
Jules Maiorano handed out 10 assists.
Eric Van Horn led the team with three kills.
Brandon Baskerville notched eight kills, top for the team.
Josiah Melendez and
Nick Shortlidge each had seven digs while Maiorano added six.
Van Horn notched the first point of the match will a kill. Wilkes answered by scoring the next seven. In the third set, the teams battled and were tied at 10 points, before the Colonels took over.
Neumann (0-3) will open its home schedule on Thursday when it hosts Rosemont. The match is slated for begin at 7:00 PM.
